SIXES CHALLENGE
Join the University of Denver Athletes and Coaches in learning to play Olympic Sixes Lacrosse.
Sixes is an incredibly fast-paced, compact version of lacrosse, combining the most exciting elements of the more traditional disciplines. It is characterized by an accelerated, open style of play with quick transitions and non-stop, high-scoring action.

REGISTRATION

Each athlete must complete their own registration.

Each athlete pays an individual player fee.

Team Designation: Registrants must type in their specific Sixes Team Name OR write "House Team" during the process.
ROSTER RULES

Maximum Size: 12 players per team.

Minimum Size: 8 players per team.

Goalie Requirement: Every team MUST include at least one goalie.

Under-enrollment Penalty: Teams short of the 8-player minimum will be dissolved. Players will be reassigned to house teams.

Coaching: Each team is permitted to bring one coach.
TEAM NAMING

Exact Matching: Use your specific, full team name during registration.

Be Descriptive: Include graduation years or colors if applicable (e.g., LAX'ERs 2028 Red Team).

No Abbreviations: Avoid shortening names or omitting details to prevent placement errors.

Individual Players: Single players can register for the "House Team." They will be grouped together and coached by camp staff.

House Team Note: If the house team fails to reach minimum roster limits, it will be split up, and players will be randomly distributed to other teams.
TOURNAMENT FORMATE
Teams must bring their own matching pinnies, jerseys, or dress up in a coordinated team theme.

Regular Season: Teams will play between 4 and 6 regular pool games (subject to change).

Playoffs: Every single team qualifies for the first round of the playoffs.

Elimination: The playoff bracket uses a single-elimination format (win and move on).
