RISING ELITE SKILLS CAMP (Half Days)

July 20-23, 2020

The DU Rising Elite Skills Camp is being offered to girls

Rising 7th, 8th, 9th Grades, who who are looking for elite level training in their position. 

Camp is limited to 22 athletes.  

4 Goalie MAX

Camp will follow Colorado Department of Public Health guidelines as well as local guidelines.

Wait List registration is free; athletes will be added to camp based on the date they are on the list; then asked to pay once a spot is confirmed.

CAMP DETAILS

This camp will feature an outstanding coaching staff consisting of current and former University of Denver coaches and athletes.

Each day is designed to develop elite level skills in a specific position.  

 

Athletes sign up for one specific area, per-session:

You can register for 1 or both sessions. 

Session 1: (9:00 am to 11:00 am)

Shooting: Placement, Power, Faking, Receiving, Feeding.

Goalie Positioning & Saves: Positioning, Stick Moment, Body Mechanics, Hand/Eye, Angles and more.

Defense Stick: Checking, Clearing, Protection.

Session 2:  (11:00 am to 1:00 pm)

Dodging: High Wing, Middle, Crease, Goal Line.

Goalie Clearing & Saves: Clearing Under Pressure, Stick Protection, Using the Crease, Best Option.

Defense Sliding: Sliding, Footwork, 1 on 1, Zone.

We will implement our health and safety plan based on the Colorado Department of Health, Douglas County and US Lacrosse guidelines.
