ELITE POSITION - SKILLS CAMP

JUNE 1-4, 2021 (9:30 am to 11:30 am)

AUGUST 3-6, 2021 (9:30 am to 11:30 am)

DU's Elite Position Camp is being offered to girls who are looking for elite level training in their position.

Open to 2025s, 2026s, 2027s (Rising 7th, 8th, 9th)

Each session will focus on mastering high level skills, specific to position. Recommended for Advanced and Highly Advanced athletes. Athletes learn maximize reps in a small group setting.

This Camp will have very limited availability due to public health guidelines.

Wait List registration is free; athletes will be added to camp based on the date they are on the list; then asked to pay once a spot is confirmed.

CAMP DETAILS

This camp will feature an outstanding coaching staff consisting of current and former University of Denver Coaches and Athletes.

Each session is designed to develop elite level skills in a specific position.  

Athletes sign up for a specific area.

Attacking Option:

Dodging & Shooting:

Shot Placement, Power, Faking, Receiving, Feeding. Dodging High Wing, Middle, Crease, Goal Line. Draw and Dumps, 2 Man Game, Cut Throughs, and Picking.

Midfield/Defense Option:

Midfield & Defense :

Checking, Clearing, Stick Protection on Break, Midfield Sliding, 8 Meter Sliding, Footwork, 1 on 1, Zone Defense, Midfield Zone Trapping, Fast Break.

Goalie Option:

Goalie Positioning, Saves, Clearing:

Positioning, Stick Moment, Body Mechanics, Hand/Eye, Angles. Clearing Under Pressure, Stick Protection, Using the Crease, Best Option for Fast Break.

We will implement our health and safety plan based on the Colorado Department of Health, County, City, and US Lacrosse guidelines.
